Rates & Availability

How to book with us

Please contact us on Whatsapp to see our room availability at Jousuba homestay.

We have listings on major booking platforms but the commissions they take can sometimes near 30%. Contacting us directly means you get the best rate and the money is going directly to the local community, rather than a major international company.

Clear, simple, and honest

We keep pricing transparent and straightforward — it’s important that guests know exactly what’s included when travelling to a remote destination like Raja Ampat.

All rates include:

  • Accommodation in a private beachfront bungalow
  • Three home-cooked meals per day (+ afternoon snacks)
  • Drinking water, tea, and coffee
  • Use of Starlink Wi-Fi in common areas

Rates are provided on enquiry and vary depending on occupancy and season. If you have questions about pricing or what’s included, we’re always happy to clarify before you book.

Rates are quoted in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) or equivalent and confirmed on enquiry.

Please note that Raja Ampat Marine Park entry permits and visitor permits are required and purchased separately.

Electricity

Electricity is provided by generator overnight. This allows guests to charge devices, enjoy lighting, and relax comfortably in the evenings.

Many guests find this rhythm enhances the experience — early nights, bright stars, and peaceful mornings.

Internet powered by Starlink

Free Starlink Wi-Fi is available in shared areas of the homestay. While speeds can vary depending on weather and usage, most guests are able to message family, check emails, and manage essential online tasks during their stay.

That said, Jousuba is a place where connection to nature often replaces constant screen time — something many guests come to appreciate.

Eco-expectations

Jousuba Homestay operates in a fragile marine and island ecosystem. We ask guests to be mindful of:

  • Water usage
  • Reef protection while snorkelling
  • Minimising waste and single-use plastics

Small, conscious actions help preserve this island and its reefs, ensuring future guests can experience Raja Ampat in the same unspoiled state.

A final note

Life at Jousuba is simple, relaxed, and shaped by nature rather than schedules. If you arrive with an open mind and a sense of respect for the environment, you’ll find the experience deeply rewarding — both above and below the water.
